1 The Pre-flop
The bets on this round are the same as the big blind
The pre-flop is the betting that occurs after the pocket cards are dealt which are your first two hidden cards and before the first three communal cards, the flop, are dealt. The betting here starts with the person to the left of the big blind. He must match the big blind’s bet, raise the big blind’s bet or fold. Play continues with the person on his left and continues round the table.
You can only raise three times in a round of Texas Holdem online poker.
At each raise every player must match the raised amount to stay in the game.
If there haven’t been any raises the small blind has only to put in half the amount to match the bet because he has already put in half the amount. If there have not been any raises the big blind has already bet and can choose not to bet.
