Carbon Poker is new to the world of online poker launching in 2007, it is with Merge Gaming Network and is based around Carbon Poker. The main selling point to this site is that is still accepts US player and so it has a great volume of traffic. Another aspect of Carbon Poker which makes it stand out from the others is the graphics and software is really superb and very advanced, considering the site isn’t as huge as some of the others the interface is a 10.

graphics and the look:
Carbon Poker are using a better version of software than Poker.com and so the graphics and features are very very good. For a relatively small poker site the software is of exceptional standards an they are continually updating them. You can upload your own image for your avatar, you can resize the rooms for multiple play (up to 8 at once), its clean and simple but yet still has all the functionality you need, and you can choose icons to display emotions which is a nice added feature when playing.

A couple of interesting features they have is the ‘rabbit hunt’ and ‘show one card’ features. The rabbit hunt gives the ability to see the river card after everybody folds on the turn, and the ‘show one card’ feature allows you to turn over one of your hole cards after the hand, just to get the atmosphere going in the room.

the games and tournaments:
All the usual games are offered including limit and no limit Texas Hold'em, where most of the traffic is, and of course Seven-Card Stud Hi and Hi-Lo and Omaha Hi and Hi-Lo. Carbon Poker also go a little further with their game choice and offer Badugi, Razz, Five-Card Stud, Five-Card Draw, Deuce-to-Seven Triple Draw both A-5 and 2-7! And so plenty of games to choose from.

The tournaments at Carbon Poker are great for satellites to real action poker, such as World Series of Poker and World Poker Tour. They also offer loads of multi-table tournaments and sit-n-gos for different levels and skills with good cash prizes, they generally aren’t as large as the bigger sites but of decent size from $500 to $50,000.

Carbon Poker are still growing and so because of this they offer some great promotions and a great deposit bonus for new signups.

Carbon Poker offer only email support but they are fast and accurate when they reply.
