introduction:
Pacific Poker has been around for a few years now, since 2002, and since then they have got a reputation for having the most loose and juiciest games online. The site is run by 888.com and the Casino-on-Net Group and so the poker tables attract a lot of the casino players, which may explain why the games are so loose. They have recently revamped the software and graphics and its looking really good. Pacific Poker doesn’t allow US players and is mainly used by European players and so the peak times to play are usually European evening times.

graphics and the look:
Pacific Poker have recently updated the software and graphics of the tables and for the better. Beforehand you could only ever play on one table but now you can play up to 4 at once. Their software is available in both Java and downloadable form. If you use a Mac, this is one of the few poker rooms you can play without getting a program like Virtual PC. Pacific Poker were renowned for having the worst graphics and for the system being exceptionally slow but with the new design and style Pacific Poker is now one of the best.

the games and tournaments:
Pacific Poker offers a wide range of games thanks to the update including Omaha Hi/Lo, Omaha, 7 Card Stud, Holdem, 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo, Multi-Table tournaments, No Limit Texas Holdem cash games and Sit & Go tournaments. You can play pot-limit, fixed limit, and no-limit variations of different poker games. Pacific Poker attracts a lot of beginner players with low buy in games and so you do find that some strong players come along and clean up the tables. The most popular sit-n-gos on this site are played 3-6 handed, as opposed to 9-10 like most other sites.

On the whole Pacific Poker offer a wide range of games and tournaments, they are most popular for their loose and juicy Texas Holdem games.

bonuses and promotions:
Pacific Poker offer a good deposit of $400 at 100% and reload bonuses every month, and a bonus point program for loyal players. Pacific Poker isn’t the best for the bonuses they offer, it is pretty standard stuff. One aspect that makes Pacific Poker stand out from the rest is the fact you can use 25% of the deposit instantly usually you have to wait and use them as you go along but they allow you the automatic credit of 25% bonus immediately on starting your games at the site.

customer support:
The customer service at Pacfiic Poker isn’t the best but it’s not awful either. If your query is quite basic then they have no problems in helping you and they are relatively fast at getting back to you, however if your problem is a little more complicated then they take a very long to get back to you but eventually the issues do get resolved. They do offer 24 / 7 support by email and phone.
